Overview

Clay Coated Newsback (CCNB) is made from recycled paper pulp and features a kaolin clay coating on the front side for a smooth printing surface. The backside features a brown or grey kraft uncoated finish, which tends to be rough in texture. CCNB’s bleached front side prevents ink from settling in the material, allowing precise, crisp lines and details when printing. In addition, the backside is a food-safe material making it ideal for packaging food. This material is also prevalent in the apparel industry for packaging shoes. CCNB can be customized through cutting, hot-foil stamping, and laminating, depending on your product and brand needs. Compared to other options, CCNB is considered a more affordable packaging option and consists of a high amount of recycled material, making it an excellent choice for creating eco-friendly packaging. For a more sustainable option to CCNB, Fully Recycled Clay Coated Newsback is a perfect choice.
